“ This restaurant goes above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable and pleased. Our waitress noticed my husband adjusting the table and immediately fixed the wobbling with little plastic pieces. Then once our food was brought to the table, my husband didn't realize the tuna wouldn't be cooked well done and the staff immediately apologized for not stating how it would be served and had him choose a new entree. The food is delicious with beautiful presentation. Definitely a date night favorite! Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. ”

“ Outstanding experience at King Cropp. From setting foot inside the restaurant, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a warm, well designed atmosphere. Our server Parker was charming and very mindful of providing the perfect service for our needs. Vegetarian items were plentiful and well marked, portions were huge, and cocktails made with both thought and love. No question the best place to dine in the Danville area! ”
“ Delightful restaurant. Service was prompt. I ordered the salmon, garden salad and homemade pickles. My food was very good. My friend ordered the catfish but he said his fish didn’t taste like catfish it tasted more like tilapia and he has been eating catfish for years. I tried it and it really didn’t taste like catfish to me either. We did not say anything to the waitress about the fish. I am still rating a 5 because the food I ordered and ate was delicious and I would recommend. I do recommend to go early because there seemed to be a wait when we left. ”
“ King Cropp does a fine job of mixing traditional ingredients in non traditional ways while also making creations that are comforting and familiar. The menu and vibe would make you think that it’s more expensive than it turns out to be; good value to authenticity ratio. It’s tough for me to not get a Mac and cheese bowl each time but you always want to hear the specials before you order. Main Street mac, the grilled or fried chicken breast, truffle fries, are usually on my list but branch out from there. I couldn’t snap pics until food had been half eaten, but pictured are bbq grilled chicken, Main Street Mac bowl, and a Mac and cheese side. Atmosphere is an old house that has been converted to a neat restaurant with several different dining room options. ”
“ Randomly stopped here and have been thinking about how amazing it has been since! The outdoor seating is lovely and service is very friendly! There are plenty of fun martini options including a pickle-tini, and they're very well priced (9!). I had the salmon with cesar salad and mac n cheese as my two sides and thought the portions were great! Will be recommending! ”
“ This is a beautiful restaurant and it's farm to table, so menu options change. You can eat outside on the patio, inside or even at the bar. There are several fish and chicken options. Their sides are amazing! Always get the macaroni and cheese. My favorite appetizer is the truffle tots. From the bar, try the DanVegas. I have never been disappointed in a meal here. ”
“ While traveling in Virginia, we came upon a quaint little restaurant in Danville that made our dining a pleasure. Nicole, our server, was excellent and the food very good. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and there is outside seating. If you are ever in downtown Danville visit King Cropp Kitchen. The pinto beans are special, but unfortunately the banana pudding is not (it was not real custard and the Nilla wafers were hidden). The bathroom was really clean, too. ”
